Bhramari, also known as bee’s breath, is done by creating a humming sound as you exhale, like the buzzing of a bee. There are variations of this breath practice that involve plugging the ears and/or holding your hands over other locations on your face to facilitate closing out external stimuli. Brahmari is known to have a wonderful, calming effect on the nervous system.
Use this pranayama to reduce anxiety, tension, and overwhelming emotions. It can also help improve cognition and memory.
